BV TECH aT ICAART ’25

Colleagues Antonio Maci and Roberto Lorusso from BV TECH CyberLab attended the “17th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART 2025), which was held from 23 to 25 February 2025 in Porto (Portugal), presenting the research report “GOLLUM: Guided firewall cfiguration using Large LangUage Models”, made together with colleague Antonio Coscia.

RAG Techniques

Techniques RAGGOLLUM is a specialized conversational agent for the support of security equipment configuration activities, trained by applying RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) techniques to “general purpose” type LLM models for use with the specific apparatus or application.

The research, which has been of great interest among the participants in the conference and will be published shortly in the proceedings, was completely carried out by CyberLab colleagues as part of the activities of the Programme Contract “Cybersecurity and SOC product suite” and the functionalities offered by GOLLUM have already been integrated in the scope of the Cybersuite BV TECH.
