29/10/2024
BV TECH participated in the “10th Anniversary Meeting” of the CAMS (Cybersecurity at MIT Sloan) consortium, which was held this past October 23 and 24 at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The event was attended by members of the CAMS consortium, including Amazon, Bank of America, Google, KPMG, Mastercard, Nasdaq and Schneider Electric.
Serious gaming and Cybersecurity
During the event, Michael Siegel, Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Sloan School of Management, briefed participants on the main results of the collaborative activities carried out with BV TECH under the Program Contract, relating to the integration of industrial control system modeling capabilities within the Cyber Range and the creation of a“serious gaming” platform aimed at improving understanding of the dynamics related to cybersecurity investments as a factor in improving business performance, both of which were summarized in a short video produced by BV TECH.
Fellow Tony Delvecchio, together with Sander Zeijlemaker (CAMS), outlined the evolution of research activities already presented last May in the “3rd Annual CAMS Cybersecurity Innovation Symposium (CCIS)” and found considerable interest from event participants, thus also participating in the Special Interest Group (SIG) panel discussions related to cybersecurity in the context of Operational Technologies/Industrial Control Systems (OT/ICS) and Human Risk management.
