BV TECH participates in the Short Master CICS of PoliBA

BV TECH will participate in the Short Master in “Cybersecurity for Industrial Control Systems” (CICS), organized by the Politecnico di Bari. The Master aims to analyze the main vulnerabilities of control systems used in industrial production systems resulting from the interconnection of production systems with computer management systems connected to telecommunications networks, according to the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
Virtual platform for simulation of IT and OT scenarios
BV TECH will contribute to the training activities through a session dedicated to the simulation of cyber attacks in an OT scenario within the Cyber Range BV TECH. The Cyber Range BV TECH, developed under the Program Contract “Cybersecurity and SOC Product Suite”, realizes a virtual platform for the simulation of IT and OT scenarios, providing an advanced system of cyber-systems modelingPhysics to simulate, with a high degree of realism, the physical processes, protocols and equipment present in industrial control systems on which to carry out cyber attack and defence exercises.
In addition, under the agreement signed with the Politecnico di Bari, BV TECH will finance 10 scholarships of € 200.00, intended for 10 students and awarded according to the order of merit of the selection ranking.
